This last Wednesday, June 4th, aron! celebrated the upcoming release of “cozy you (and other nice songs)” on June 6th. The celebration took place at The Buffalo Club in Santa Monica at the beautiful outdoor courtyard. The atmosphere at venue was wonderful with the constant buzz of people talking all around, before and after the show. aron! wore his typical “grandma sweater” aesthetic. During the show aron! announced further songs in the works, including christmas jazz in the near future as well as a full album release in 2026. “cozy you (and other nice songs)” will be the jazz pop artist’s debut EP under Verve Records.
Overall it was a wonderful event being able to interact with people of all ages who are excited for aron!’s upcoming release on June 6th. The EP is a collection of timeless pop jazz songs which touch on life’s complexities and the yin and yang of romance and heartbreak. With an all inviting warmth and charm, aron! brings a modern perspective to jazz with his memorable voice and talented songwriting that intertwines the classics and a new freshness to jazz.
After making the announcements aron! played a calming set of nine songs, “cozy you”, “eggs in the morning”, “close but no cigar”, a solo on the piano “it’s a wonderful thing to fall in love with you”, “i think about you lots”, “table for two”, “rainy miami”, and finally “tandem bike”. Alongside him was Jon Ziegler on the drums, Jonathan Huber on the piano, and Jesse Katz on the bass. The wonderful additions of each artist enhanced the lulling ambience of the event.
