BIZZY “Really Likes This Part” of falling in love on her new single

Burgeoning alt-pop star, BIZZY, returns with her latest single, “I Really Like This Part”, which will be released just today - July 18 - through Big Loud Rock (the alternative/rock imprint of Big Loud Records).

The track briefly begins with soft acoustic that quickly turns into a light, bouncing beat as BIZZY tells her love interest, “I really like this part / Where you walk me to my car and you tell me that I’m pretty”. The perfect date!

The singer has reservations, though. In the back of her mind, BIZZY thinks this whole scene is too good to be true, as she sings in the pre-chorus , “I play it all in my head / words we haven’t said yet / think how good this could get …But I’m still holding my breath…”

It then launches into an all-out pop banger of a chorus, “‘Cuz nothing’s gone wrong / We haven’t overplayed our songs …It hasn’t been too long / Still learnin’ how to turn you on …And I don’t want it to stop”.

“[“I Really Like This Part”] feels like catching butterflies in a jar”, BIZZY explained in a previous press release. “Everything still feels magical and untouched. You're just giddy, telling your friends you met someone new, hoping that feeling never goes away.”

The second verse finds the Maryland native and her love interest getting a little more serious, “I really like this part / where I learn your middle name and I miss you on a Tuesday / where you still dress up. Cuz you wanna impress me, little things are the best”.

The pre-chorus revisits second guessing, “I play it all in my head” but - this time - the relationship ups the serious factor as the singer “meet[s] your family and friends”.

BIZZY sounds like she’s practically shouting from the rooftops in the bridge, “This is nice / your lips taste like summer. Butterflies and forts under covers / Steal your shirt from right off your shoulders / God, I’ll cry if this is ever over” The very last line increases emphasis with, “God, I’ll die if this is ever over”.

“I Really Like This Part” was co-written with Spencer Jordan (Knox, Shaboozey) and Brett Truitt (Alex Warren).

With pop tunes that stick to you like cat hair, BIZZY is definitely primed for the big time in the world of pop music!
