Nobody can go without a little bit of indie and a little bit of pop, combined together typically in your bedroom apartment, and you have the likes of Clairo, Beabadoobe and Billie Eilish at times, its soothing for the buzzing summer coming up, times with your friends, joyrides on the road, or maybe catching by Irving Plaza on a Tuesday evening after a cloudy day.

Lyn Lapid had given everyone the experience to check these marks off on June 10th, where a full line around the corner had came around, and there were people reciting every lyric in their head with a couple of people to fill the joy. When coming in, the dazzling lobby and dark soothing lights of Irving Plaza made for an experience similar to a movie theatre premiere.

To open up the performance, Fig was invited to warm the crowd up to some tunes, BUD and FITS in 2022 and 2024 have been many great albums within the indie pop genre that she’s released, coinciding within the music scene. When performing many fans were welcoming and joyful of the performance, even being delighted with a game show to add some uniqueness to the experience.

With no surprise to headlining, Lyn Lapid came out, in a red tanktop and jeans, stealing the show with her bandmates in delight dresses and brazing guitars, and performing many great hits that have brought her stardom on TikTok, since her debut in 2020 during the quarantine period, and her career over the years. Many fans screamed their heart out, and it was a delight to enjoy, even for my first time at an official concert as such. Even I felt welcomed.

As a first time shooting an official 1824 event, Lyn Lapid sure gave a great welcome.
